# TNCSC Tamil School — Teacher & Instructor Guide

## Overview
This guide is for Tamil language and cultural instructors conducting classes at the TNCSC Tamil School.

## 1. Accessing Your Classes

1. Log in to the TNCSC platform at `https://tncsc.odoo.thedomainnest.com` (or local portal).
2. Navigate to **Community OS > Tamil School > Classes**.
3. Open your assigned class (e.g. *Kindergarten Tamil*, *Level 1 Tamil*, *Advanced Tamil Literature*).

## 2. Managing Class Rosters & Students

1. In the class form, review the **Enrolled Students** list.
2. Each student card displays:
   - Student Name & Tamil Name
   - Age / Date of Birth
   - Parent / Guardian Contact (Email & Phone)
   - Emergency Contact details

## 3. Daily Attendance

1. Under the class view, select **Take Attendance** for the current session date.
2. Mark each student as:
   - **Present**
   - **Absent**
   - **Excused / Late**
3. Save the attendance record. Parents can see their child's attendance history in real time via their member portal.

## 4. Class Announcements & Syllabus

1. Post homework, lesson plans, and reading assignments directly in the class chatter.
2. Parents and students will receive email notifications with class updates.
